Superficial Siderosis
Findings:
Multiple MR images demonstrate extensive T2 hypointensity coating the cisterns and brain surfaces with moderate to severe atrophy of the midbrain. The included ventricular system is dilated. The regions of T2 hypointensity are slightly hyperintense on T1 weighted imaging. There is superimposed cerebellar atrophy.
