Dural Sinus Thrombosis with Subarachnoid Hemorrhage

Findings:

Multiple axial noncontrast CT images demonstrate subarachnoid hemorrhage in the bilateral parasagittal regions. There is also asymmetric hyperdensity of the dural sinuses, particularly the superior sagittal sinus and the cortical veins.

Sagittal and coronal reformats of the head CT confirm asymmetric hyperdensity of the superior sagittal sinus and again show bilateral parasagittal subarachnoid hemorrhage.

CTA images confirm absent enhancement within the superior sagittal sinus due to thrombosis. No arterial abnormalities are demonstrated.
