Ramsay Hunt Syndrome

Findings:

Axial T1 postcontrast, axial T2 fatsat, and axial T1 weighted post contrast image demonstrates abnormal patchy enhancement of the right seventh eighth nerve complex which also minimally involves the cochlea. There is asymmetric enhancement of the entire right facial nerve. There is superimposed mild right mastoid inflammatory opacification.

Additional axial T1 weighted images show asymmetric enhancement within the fundus of the right IAC extending along the right facial nerve. The coronal postcontrast image demonstrates asymmetric soft tissue and enhancement within the right external auditory canal.
