orbital sarcoidosis

Orbital Sarcoidosis

Findings:

Multiple MRI images demonstrate enophthalmos bilaterally. A poorly defined infiltrative process with abnormal enhancement involves the intraconal and postseptal space of both orbits. The process is intermediate signal on T2 weighted imaging with some linear hypointensities along the optic nerve sheaths. CT also shows this infiltrative process with poor visualization of individual extraocular muscles.
