ADEM

Findings:

Axial FLAIR, axial T1 post contrast, and coronal T1 post contrast images demonstrate patchy signal abnormalities of the left thalamus and medial temporal lobe which demonstrate abnormal enhancement, without mass affect. The enhancement is predominantly peripheral and limited due to the leading edge of the lesions. Small areas of peripheral diffusion restriction our present associated with these lesions.
