Inverting Papilloma

Findings:

Multiple sinus CT images demonstrate a soft tissue density irregular lesion within the left nasal cavity causing essentially complete obstruction of the left nasal airway. A few calcifications are seen within the mass. A left ethmoid septa is thickened. Portions of the left nasal turbinates and the nasal septum are destroyed. The left nasal mass has a mildly expansile characteristic. There is superimposed mild inflammatory mucosal thickening in the left maxillary sinus.

MR images show heterogeneous relatively intense enhancement of the mass, with heterogeneous mixed low signal on T2 weighted imaging and near isodensity to muscle on T1. There is a superimposed small mucous retention cyst in the left sphenoid sinus.
