Schwannoma

Findings:

Multiple MR images demonstrate a large heterogeneously enhancing mass centered in the region of the right CP angle cistern. The mass causes marked asymmetric widening of the right internal auditory canal. The mass demonstrates near homogeneous enhancement with intermediate areas of T2 hypointensity in a somewhat swirling pattern. The mass does not demonstrate definite restricted diffusion. No significant vasogenic edema is included. The left internal auditory canal appears normal.
