Paraganglioma

Findings:

Multiple CT images demonstrate an intensely enhancing mass which is well-defined within the left carotid sheath, and encases the left carotid bifurcation. Structures are displaced away from the mass with no other infiltration. MR images confirm hypervascularity of the mass with multiple hypointense flow voids seen within the mass. Vascularity is also visible on the MRA images. No significant vascular stenosis is demonstrated.
