Fragile X Ataxia

Findings:

Multiple MRI T2 and FLAIR images centered on the cerebellum and brainstem demonstrate cerebellar atrophy with symmetric gliosis in the cerebellar vermis. Patchy teach you hyperintensities are present in the pons with a superimposed sagittally oriented bandlike T2 hyperintensity coursing anterior to posterior through the pons. No transversely oriented band is visible.
