Dentigerous Cyst
Findings:
Sinus CT images demonstrate subtotal opacification of the left maxillary sinus with mild expansile characteristics. On some of the images, this simulates a mucous retention cyst, but on further inspection there is a thin expansile osseous margin that nearly fills the left maxillary sinus. An unerupted tooth has his crown directed into the base of the expansile. A congenitally hypoplastic right maxillary sinus is present. Incidentally the nasal septum is deviated to the left inferiorly with a nasal spur distorting the inferior turbinate. There is bilateral nasal turbinate congestion and minimal inflammatory mucosal thickening otherwise present in the paranasal sinuses.
