Cholesteatoma
Findings:
Multiple temporal bone CT images demonstrate a destructive mass involving the right external auditory canal, mastoid air cells, and mastoid antrum, associated with destruction of the incus and portion of the malleus, thickening and medial retraction of the tympanic membrane, partial dehiscence of the tegmen tympani, and marked demineralization of the sigmoid sinus bone plate. The opacification is slightly hypodense to muscle and brain on the soft tissue windows. A more smoothly scalloped bone margin is seen in some regions.
