TMJ lesion

Findings:

Multiple contrast enhanced CT images demonstrate an intensely enhancing mass extending from the region of the right mandibular condyle which is inseparable from the parotid gland. Zones of scalloped bone destruction involve the condylar fossa and the posterior margin of the right zygomatic arch. There is superimposed sclerosis and bone remodeling of the right mandible subcondylar region indicating a long-standing process. There is superimposed partial opacification of the right external auditory canal. An expansile appearance of the right mandibular condyle is noted on the coronal images.
