Right Proximal Foraminal Disc Extrusion L2-3

Findings:

Sagittal T2 weighted MRI images demonstrate a well defined hazy focus of decreased signal posterior to the L2-2 annulus. This projects within the right L2 foramen. The finding is well visualized as hypointensity within the foraminal and preforaminal epidural fat, and is inseparable from the ventral margin of the exiting right L2 nerve root.
