Pituitary Adenoma

Findings:

Sagittal T1 postcontrast, coronal T2, coronal T1 weighted MR images demonstrate a large mass in the sella extending into the suprasellar cistern and displacing the optic chiasm, with evidence of right cavernous sinus invasion.

Differential diagnosis:

Pituitary adenoma, craniopharyngioma (less common to be solid and mostly sellar rather than cytic and suprasellar), rathke's cleft cyst (RCC do not enhance or invade cavernous sinus), metastasis (indistinguishable, but unusual to present as solitary pit lesion), meningioma.
