Quadrigeminal Plate Cistern Lipoma

An extraaxial mass is present in the quadrigeminal plate cistern which exhibits hyperintensity on PD weighted images and displaces the tectum anteriorly. This mass shows loss of signal with fat suppression, which confirms its fatty composition. Note the chemical shift artifact which is best seen on the fat suppressed image but can still be seen on the other images.
