Sarcoidosis
FINDINGS:
Thickened enhancing dura is evident along the right frontoparietal
convexity, with marked associated edema. An additional small focus of meningeal
enhancement is noted deep in a sulcus anteriorly.
DISCUSSION:
The differential diagnosis includes TB, sarcoidosis,
meningioma, mets. Transbronchial biopsy showed noncaseating granulomas,
so a diagnosis of sarcoidosis was given. For futher information about neurosarcoidosis,
please refer to unknown case #65.
