Findings:
Noncontrast mandible CT bone reconstructions demonstrates an expansile lytic lesion with thin osseous septations and bubbly appearance involving the right mandibular body
Differential diagnosis:
Ameloblastoma, odontogenic keratocyst, others as below with helpful distinguishing features
Discussion:
nExpansile lytic lesion with cortical interruptions, unilocular or multilocular, with or without soft tissue mass
nDdx of mandibular cystic lesions:
nDentigerous cyst- crown of unerupted tooth
nRadicular cyst- roots- most common- caries
nOdontogenic keratocyst- more aggressive, multilocular, impacted tooth
nOthers: ABC, giant cell granuloma
