Metastatic Breast Cancer, Intraconal
Findings:
Multiple MR images demonstrate infiltrative postseptal intraconal signal abnormalities with abnormal enhancement within both orbits, associated with subtle enophthalmos.
Discussion:
Breast cancer metastases are not uncommon involving the orbits. Scirrous breast carcinomas may sometimes cause a fibrotic reaction that causes inward sinkage of the globes also known as enophthalmos.
