nVestibular aqueduct
nExtends from vestibule posterior as endolymphatic duct, endolymphatic sac distally- no direct communication to CSF as opposed to the cochlear aqueduct
nInner ear dysplasias
nVAS- dilated VA >1.5 mm at midpoint, +/- dilated vestibule
nNormal hearing first 2 years, then progressive SNHL sometimes not rec until teenage years
nMondini malformation- lack of normal 2.5 turns of cochlea.
nMichel aplasia- absence of cochlea
