Lymphoma

Findings:

Multiple MR images demonstrate poorly defined infiltrative enhancing masses in the right paraspinal region at L3-4 and within the right aspect of the spinal canal at C2-3, causing cord compression at C2-3, and infiltrating the left L3 foramen. Adjacent abnormal marrow signal intensity is seen within L3, L4, and C2. The mass at C2 extends intradural, traversing the dura on the axial image, and involves the right C3 foramen. Additional infiltrative extent is seen within the left lumbar paraspinal musculature.

Discussion/Differential Diagnosis:

Homogeneity of signal and enhancement and infiltration rather than frank destruction of adjacent osseous structures is a helpful distiguisher between lymphoma and metastatic disease. Other cases and disscussion of lymphoma:

              -lymphoma spinal
               -lymphoma1
               -lymphoma2
               -lymphoma3
               -lymphoma4
               -lymphoma5
               -lymphoma6
               -lymphoma6 intraventricular
                -orbital lymphoma
                -orbital lymphoma2
